Due to it is already rainy season, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) has deployed officers at railway crossings in a bid to anticipate landslide.

Senior Manager of Corporate Communication for Jakarta PT KAI Daops I, Bambang Prayitno disclosed besides inundating railway crossings, rain water also often leads to landslide and corrosion.
In West Jakarta for instance, the inundation and landslide are often happened in some railway crossings, such as Pesing Koneng, Kedoya Utara, Kebon Jeruk, and Rawa Buaya-Kalideres.

Moreover, he disclosed, his party is still focusing on turn-railway track at the Pesing Koneng railway crossing as long as 50 meters.
"We do it to anticipate train trip disruptions. Additionally, we also prepare officers for 24 hours at railway crossings which are prone to landslide," he disclosed.
